FAQ
What people ask us before requesting a quote
Clear, indicative answers about roofs, façades, asbestos, work at height and industrial project management. Every case is different: when it depends on the property, we will tell you and propose a preliminary survey.

Roofs and façades
How do I know if my roof needs a full refurbishment?
If leaks come back after every repair, the material is degraded across much of the surface or the insulation no longer performs, replacement is usually more cost-effective than continuing to repair. We assess it in the preliminary survey of the roof.
What kind of roof is installed on an industrial building?
The most common is the sandwich panel roof: two metal sheets with an insulating core, lightweight, quick to install and well insulated. On flat roofs, waterproofing membranes and insulation are laid over the existing deck.
Can the roof of an industrial building be replaced without stopping the activity?
In most cases, yes: the works are planned by zones and phases, machinery is protected and the lifting equipment is coordinated with the plant manager.
What signs indicate that a façade needs refurbishment?
Growing cracks, flaking render, persistent damp, cladding that sounds hollow, exposed steel on balconies and loose parts. After a detachment, cordon off the area and call a professional. More information under façade refurbishment.
Can a façade be refurbished without scaffolding?
Yes, for one-off interventions, inner courtyards and façades with no room on the pavement, rope access techniques are used (rope access work). For full refurbishments involving several trades, scaffolding is usually worthwhile.
Who approves the works in a homeowners' association?
The roof, the façade and the main downpipes are common elements: the works are approved at the owners' meeting and are usually managed by the property manager. We prepare the documentation so that the association can compare options.
Asbestos and fibre cement (Uralita)
How do I know if my roof or downpipes contain asbestos?
Asbestos fibre cement is grey, stone-like in appearance, in corrugated sheets or pipes with bell-shaped joints, and is common in buildings from before 2002. Do not handle it: in the preliminary survey we identify the material and tell you which requirements apply.
Who can remove asbestos cement?
Only companies registered in the RERA (Spain's Register of Companies at Risk from Asbestos), under a work plan approved by the labour authority, in accordance with Royal Decree 396/2006. Revital Innover coordinates the complete project with one of these companies and installs the new roof or downpipe. More information under asbestos removal.
How much does it cost to remove asbestos cement?
It depends on the surface area, the condition of the material, access and height, lifting equipment, waste management and the new solution. We prepare the quote after visiting the property, with every item explained, with no blind prices per square metre.
Are there grants for asbestos removal?
Regional governments and some town councils periodically offer grants for the removal, transport and treatment of asbestos waste, aimed at owners, companies and homeowners' associations. They change every year and deadlines are short; it is worth checking the current call.
Is it compulsory to remove asbestos from a building?
The regulations require that asbestos-containing materials are not handled without a specialised company and that municipalities draw up censuses and removal timetables. Deteriorated material poses the greatest risk, so it is advisable to plan its removal as soon as possible.
Work at height and industrial projects
What is the difference between rope access and work at height?
Work at height is any intervention with a risk of falling. Rope access is a specific technique: the operative gains access and positions themselves with ropes and harnesses, without scaffolding or a platform. It is ideal for courtyards, party walls and one-off jobs.
What do you need to quote for a machinery relocation?
Weight and dimensions (or data sheet), photographs, the planned route, access points and doors, the condition of the floor and the dates on which the plant can free up the area. With that information we prepare the means and the schedule. More information under industrial projects.
Can you assemble or relocate machinery without stopping production?
In most cases, yes, planning by phases, zones and shifts, including weekends and scheduled shutdowns, in coordination with the production manager.
What lifting equipment do you use?
We coordinate crane trucks, mobile cranes, aerial platforms and handling equipment from specialised lifting companies, depending on weight, height and access. We choose them in the preliminary survey together with the safety plan for the intervention. More information under industrial project management and coordination.
Do you work with engineering firms and maintenance departments?
Yes. We join the project team, provide the construction and handling side and manage the health and safety documentation and the coordination of business activities with the plant.
Quotes and how we work
How do I request a quote?
Through the website form, attaching photographs if you have them, or by writing to revitalinnover@gmail.com. We reply, visit the property if necessary and prepare a proposal with every item explained.
Do you visit the property before quoting?
Yes, when the job requires it. The preliminary survey allows us to give an accurate quote with no surprises, and it is the first of the five stages of our method.
Where do you carry out the works?
We study each project according to its scope and location. Tell us where the property or facility is and what you need, and we will assess the best way to approach it.
Do you work for public authorities and as a subcontractor?
Yes. We carry out construction and maintenance works for public authorities and public companies and collaborate with construction companies and developers as a specialised subcontractor for roofs, façades, asbestos, work at height and assembly. More information under construction and public works.
What exactly does REVITAL do?
We manage projects from start to finish: we study the need, plan the phases, coordinate the specialised professionals and companies involved and supervise execution through to handover. Our lines of activity are roof and façade refurbishment, construction and public works, and industrial project management and coordination.
Do you have your own machinery, cranes or crews?
No. Revital Innover is a management and coordination company: it studies the project, plans the solution and coordinates the specialised professionals and companies of each discipline (roofs, façades, structures, lifting, asbestos, rope access, installations), with a single point of contact and one schedule. This way we can offer integrated solutions without you having to coordinate several suppliers.
Can't find your question?
Write to us from the form with a description of the property or facility and, if you can, photographs. We will reply with an indicative assessment and the next steps.
